GALWAY TO LIMERICK RAIL SERVICE RE-OPENS

The first train journey between Limerick and Galway in over 34 years takes place today.

Iarnrod Eireann is officially reopening the route this morning after reconstructing the link between Ennis and Athenry.

The full schedule of services begins tomorrow with five services each way Monday to Saturday and four on a Sunday.
