Galway to Limerick rail line struggles to cover running cost
Galway bay fm newsroom – The Galway to Limerick rail line is covering less than five percent of its running cost in terms of passenger usage.
The figure was revealed by Transport Minister Leo Vradkar at the opening of Oranmore train station this week.
Minister Vradkar says he’s keen to look at measures to increase patronage on the Limerick line which is part of the Western Rail Corridor
