GALWAY TO HOST IRELAND’S FIRST EVER IMMUNISATION TRAINING DAY

Ireland’s first ever Immunization Training Programme, aimed at Practice Nurses, Paediatric Nurses, Public Health Nurses and Midwives, will take place in University Hospital Galway next Wednesday

The aim of the one-day programme is to support and promote a national standard approach in the delivery of childhood immunizations.

The Programme, entitled ‘A Practical Guide to Immunization’ will be held in the Centre of Nursing & Midwifery Education at UHG

It’s also aimed at Area Medical Officers, GPs and HSE immunization staff, as well as nurses based in Counties Galway, Mayo and Roscommon
