Galway to get efibre broadband

Eircom will launch its new eFibre high-speed broadband network today.

It’s the first phase of the telecom company’s 1.5 billion euro investment in the service in Ireland.

14 counties, including Galway, will be able to avail of the network – which will benefit 300,000 homes and businesses – rising to 600,000 by the year end.
