For the festive season that’s in it, we asked our city TDs in the Galway West constituency about their highlights and lowlights of 2019, their hopes for the coming general election year, their thoughts on Christmas and wish list for Daidí na Nollag.

Four of the five Dáil Deputies responded (Independent Noel Grealish was the odd one out – he’s still gone to ground since making controversial Dáil comments about migrants’ remittances), and here are their replies, including Dev Óg on Dev’s American tour; Seánín Kyne on the Oughterard Direct Provision controversy; Hildegarde’s failing phone; and Cat Connolly’s Dáil privilege.
