Galway TD slams ‘stealth cuts’ to community services programme

Galway Bay fm newsroom – A Galway TD is slamming what’s being described as ‘stealth cuts’ to the Community Services Programme.

The CSP supports community companies and co-operatives to deliver local services by funding the cost of employees.

However, Deputy Eamon O’ Cuiv says in recent years, the allocations have fallen below minimum wage levels – requiring community companies to make up the shortfall.
