Galway TD’s unite to tackle county’s biggest issues

Recently elected TDs across the whole of Galway are adopting a united front in an unprecedinted show of strength on a variety of issues affecting the county.
On both sides of the county TDs are planning to come together to fight for developments that had been either stalled or delayed during the term of the previous Government.
The Oireachtas members in Galway West plan to hold a ‘think tank’ to discuss issues like the Galway City Outer Bypass, the redevelopment of the Galway port and the Claregalway bypass.
Meanwhile, the four TDs in Galway East are embarking on a deputation to meet with the National Roads Authority over the delayed Gort to Tuam motorway – to establish what has gone wrong with the €500 million project.
Independent TD Noel Grealish said that he would be contacting the other four Dail Deputies in Galway West over the next couple of weeks to discuss some major infrastructural projects.
