Galway TD calls for urgent works on N59 in Connemara

Galway Bay fm newsroom – A Galway West TD has called for the National Roads Authourity to address what he called the ‘urgent need’ to upgrade a section of the N59 in Connemara.
Deputy Eamon O’Cuiv says that the section of the N59 between Letterfrack and Moyard is in need of urgent works to reduce bottlenecks and increase the suitability of the road for larger vehicles like tourist coaches.
Deputy O’ Cuiv says that the N59 is a vital artery in Connemara and is of huge economic importance to the area.
