Galway Symposium on Economics of Cancer Research

An international symposium on the economics of cancer research will take place at NUI Galway this Monday (Sept 2nd)

The symposium is hosted by Professor Ciaran O’Neill, NUI Galway Dean of Business Public Policy and Law and will be opened by Dr Jim Browne, President NUI Galway.

It will include speakers from the National Cancer Institute (USA), University of Washington, Imperial College London, the Stockholm School of Economics, Irish Cancer Society and Health Research Board.

Dr Michael McBride, Chief Medical Officer of Northern Ireland will provide the opening address.
