GALWAY STUDENTS SAY NO TO COLLEGE FEES

Over five hundred students from GMIT and NUIG protested in Eyre Square today to show their opposition to any possible reintroduction of third level fees.

A review for third level funding is currently being carried out by Minister for Education, Batt O’ Keefe.

An australian style loans system is understood to be one of the options being considered.
