GALWAY SIMON ASSISTS 120 MEN AND WOMEN

The Galway Simon Community provided homeless services to 120 men and women last year.

It’s annual report ‘Where I lay my Head’ also reveals that the charity carried out over 2 thousand 100 nursing consultations, and supported 179 people in tackling their substance misuse and poor mental health.

Galway Simon Community also helped 15 people move from their services to independent living.

The figures were released as part of Simon Week 2012, which runs until this Sunday, the 7th of October.
