GALWAY SENIOR FOOTBALL MANAGER AXED

GALWAY Senior Football manager Tomas O’Flatharta was axed last night by the football board and the search is on for a replacement.

The non-ratification of O’Flatharta for another season means he completes an unfortunate hat-trick for recent Galway senior football managers.

Joe Kernan and Liam Sammon also moved on, after one year in the job, in 2010 and 2009 respectively.
