GALWAY SENATORS RECORD EXPENSES TOTALLING 110 THOUSAND EURO

Galway senators have claimed expenses totalling 110 thousand euro since the new upper house sat last spring.

Figures compiled by the Irish Times show that Labour Senator Lorraine Higgins claimed the least amount at 23 thousand 375 euro.

Two Galway senators opted for the vouched option while two selected the unvouched public representation allowance.
