Galway senator wants rural unemployment tackled

Galway Bay fm newsroom – Galway Senator Trevor O Clochartaigh has called on the Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation to address the problem of job creation in rural areas.
Senator O Clochartaigh, Sinn Fein’s Spokesperson on Rural Affairs, says that figures show a decrease in the labour force in rural areas.
He says that the IDA hasn’t reached its projected targets for job creation outside Cork and Dublin and rural livelihoods are being eroded.
