Galway schools to benefit from extra teaching time
Galway Bay fm newsroom – Over 100 Galway schools are to benefit from additional resource hours.
102 primary schools and 23 post primary schools have been allocated the additional teaching hours for children with special educational needs.
The national council for special education confirmed the news after the Education Minister announced the hours in the budget.
455 extra resource teaching posts were also announced for Irish schools.
Labour Senator Lorraine Higgins says it’s a very positive step for education.
