Galway restaurant joins Euro-toque ranks

The chefs at Galway city restaurant, Brasserie on the Corner, have joined the ranks of Euro-toque, the pan European organisation established in 1986, which is committed to protect culinary traditions and best principles of cooking, working with quality food producers.

At present more than 3,500 chefs throughout Europe are members of Euro-toque.

The culinary team at Brasserie on the Corner, Joe Flaherty (head chef), Bryan Danker (sous chef), Robert Gozdziewski Sam Mulholland and Yong wah Low, endorse the Euro-toque organisation as reflecting their own ethos of protecting the quality and flavour of food while supporting local artisan producers.

These chefs believe that good food begins with the finding the right local producer, offering the right produce, cooked in the right way.

“A fresh, well prepared and carefully seasoned cut of meat or fillet of fish is vital to the taste and enjoyment of the dish. Care in the buying makes serving a pleasure,” explains head chef Joe Flaherty.
