Galway rated outsiders to regain All-Ireland camogie title
THEY are the only Galway GAA team left standing; the only one which can capture a 2021 All-Ireland title.
The county’s senior camogie team can salvage a frustrating championship summer, which saw one Galway inter-county squad bow out after another.
With Cathal Murray still in charge and Sarah Dervan continuing as captain, Galway will be bidding for only a fourth All-Ireland senior title at Croke Park on Sunday (4:15pm).
Standing in the opposition corner are the most prolific winners of the O’Duffy Cup as Cork chase a 29th All-Ireland crown having edged out reigning champions Kilkenny in the semi-final.
The Tribeswomen are slight outsiders for the final and can be backed at 6/5 to emulate their memorable 2019 All-Ireland triumph.
