GALWAY RAPE TRIAL UNDERWAY AT CENTRAL CRIMINAL COURT

A Czech national allegedly followed a Galway woman to her car and raped her after she kissed him in a pub the Central Criminal Court has heard.

The 23-year-old man has pleaded NOT guilty to raping and sexually assaulting the 24-year-old woman on or about July 28, 2007 in County Galway.

The trial continues before Mr Justice Patrick McCarthy and a jury of eight men and four women.
