GALWAY RAPE TRIAL JURY SEEKS TRANSCRIPTS OF ALLEGED VICTIM EVIDENCE

A Galway rape trial jury has asked for transcripts of the alleged victim’s witness box evidence to be read back to them.

The jury made the request after an hour and twenty minutes of deliberations this afternoon.

A man in his late thirties denies two charges of the rape and sexual assault of his then 17 year old babysitter at a location in the county on July 27th 2008.
