GALWAY PRO-CHOICE GROUP CRITICAL OF FIANNA FAIL’S ABORTION STANCE

A Galway Pro Choice group has hit out at Fianna Fail’s stance on the abortion issue.
It’s after delegates at the Fianna Fail Ard Fheis, last night overwhelmingly passed three motions – opposing suicide as being included as a ground for abortion under the new abortion legislation.

On Friday the Taoiseach and Tanaiste insisted that the x-case – permitting a termination on the grounds of suicide – will be legislated for.

Sarah McCarthy, a spokesperson of Galway Pro-Choice. She says Fianna Fail is out of touch with what the Irish public want.
