GALWAY PEACE GROUP STAGE ANTI-BLAIR PROTEST AT EASON’S

The Galway Alliance Against War is staging a series of lunchtime protests outside Eason’s Bookstore in the city centre from Thursday.

It’s in opposition to a book-signing event for former British Prime Minister Tony Blair at its main Dublin shop on September 4th.

The local peace group is accusing Tony Blair of being a war criminal over the Iraq war and is urging other peace groups to protest at Eason’s stores around the country.
