The coordinator of EmployAbility Galway, Pauline O’Dwyer, shared the success story of her organisation with an audience of leading world experts and international delegates at a major international conference on disability and employment in Croke Park, Dublin.

Ms. O’Dwyer delivered a presentation to the more than 500 delegates from 30 countries at the European Union of Supported Employment (EUSE) conference, hosted by the Irish Association of Supported Employment (IASE) and sponsored by the Rehab Group.

Ms. O’Dwyer spoke about the work of EmployAbility Galway to promote employment for people with disabilities across the county using supported employment.

The conference is one of the biggest international gatherings relating to inclusive employment for people with disabilities and other marginalised groups.

It generated some €600,000 for the local economy over three days last week from Tuesday to Thursday.
