GALWAY NURSES VOICE ANGER OVER WORKING HOURS

Galway nurses have voiced their anger over the fact they’re still working longer than their national counterparts.

Up to 100 nurses protested outside University Hospital Galway this lunchtime over their working hours.

Nurses from Merlin Park and UHG say their working week has yet to be cut to thirty seven and a half hours in line with the national deal.
