GALWAY NAMED ‘GREAT TOWN OF IRELAND AND THE UK 2013’

Galway has won the great town award of Ireland and the UK 2013.

The announcement was made in the last hour at an awards ceremony in London, which the Mayor of Galway Terry O’ Flaherty is attending.

The academy of Urbanism award covers urban design, planning, development, housing, architecture, arts and media.
