Galway mum and twins share lives on the web

A Galway mother and her eleven month old twins are to share their story with new parents via the web – recounting every step in their development to capture the reality of toddler meal times!

Alice Shaughnessy and twin girls Allegra and Francesca from Turloughmore are among seven families chosen to take part in the Toddlebox Challenge.

Toddlebox is Ireland’s newest feeding and nutrition website, just for toddlers, designed as a supportive online community where parents can engage with peers like Alice who just like her sometimes find meal times a struggle.

The Toddlebox challenge will go behind the scenes and work with these families one on one, filming every step of the way to share their experiences and offer advice and tips on toddler nutrition to the wider Toddlebox community.

“Allegra and Francesca are just entering into toddlerhood and have started to become increasingly fussy with food as a way of expressing their personality so I’m thrilled to be part of the Toddlebox Challenge,” said Alice.

“It’s been tough with the twins as it’s not one toddler, it’s two – and they both have their own individual tastes and personalities. I need help combating their behaviour and help with toddler friendly recipes so I can be sure my girls are getting all the nutrients they need. I hope other mums will follow our Toddlebox Journey and see how we get on,” she added.
