GALWAY MOTHER WHO DIED IN CRASH NAMED LOCALLY

The young mother who died in this morning’s crash on the Coast Road near Oranmore has been named locally as Dympna Folan from Mervue.

35 year old Mrs Folan is originally Dympna Kenny from Eyrecourt but lives in the city with her husband Peter and their young children.

Dympna was driving her car when it was in collision with a privately operated bus at Ross Hill on the old Dublin road at around ten thirty this morning.

Neither the bus passengers nor the person travelling in a second car, which was also involved in the incident, were injured.
