GALWAY MOTHER ALLEGED NEGLECT CASE COULD BE MOVED TO CASTLEBAR

The trial of a 45 year old Galway woman, facing charges of neglect to her children may be moved to Castlebar district Court.

Galway Circuit Criminal Court heard yesterday that the trial would require video link facilities and could take up to four weeks in the courts.

The charges allege that the woman assaulted, ill treated , abandoned or otherwise harmed her children over a seven year period.
