GALWAY MINISTER HOPEFUL OF SECURING AER ARANN FUTURE

GALWAY’S only Minister at the cabinet table, Eamon O Cuiv says he hopes the examiner can find a way to resolve the financial issues facing Aer Arann.

He says that the airline, which went into voluntary examinership on Thursday is a vital link for Galway and the volcanic ash cloud problems earlier this year compounded its fiancial difficulties.

Minister O Cuiv says he will be working with both the airline and Galway Airport to try and ensure that the services continue.
