A meeting of business and tourism heads from Galway and the West last evening [9/8] raised serious concerns about the impact of the Aer Lingus decision to axe the Shannon to Heathrow service, on the region

Galway Chamber of Commerce and other Western organisations such as IBEC, and the Irish Hotels Federation were in attendance

They discussed the economic impact on Galway and other counties in the region as a result of the Aer Lingus decision
