GALWAY MAN IS NEW CHIEF OF PHARMACEUTICAL SOCIETY

he Council of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland has appointed a Galway man as their new president.

Eoghan Hanly from Loughrea, was elected President of the society with Achill based pharmacist, Noel Stenson, elected to succeed him as Vice President.

Mr Hanly graduated from Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen in 1995 with a degree in  Pharmacy.

Since 1996 he has practiced as a pharmacist in his family’s pharmacy in Loughrea, which was established by his grandfather, P.J. Killian, in 1940.
