Galway leprechaun stars in new movie

A SIX foot tall Australian leprechaun whose parents hail from Mullagh and Oughterard is the star of a new short movie which goes on release in Ireland this week.
Adrian Raftery was on honeymoon in the West Indies with his new wife Kylie when the Irish cricket team were performing their World Cup heroics – and he became their twelfth man, dressed as a massive luminous green leprechaun that stretched to seven and a half feet with his giant hat!
Now his story is part of the backdrop to a new film called Breaking Boundaries – Ireland’s Extraordinary Cricket World Cup, made by Sligoman Paul Davey, which received a charity premiere in Sligo last night.
