GALWAY LECTURER MAKES SCIENTIFIC BREAKTHROUGH

A Galway lecturer has made a scientific breakthrough in understanding the effect of climate change and air pollution on rainfall.

NUI Galway lecturer, Dr.Colin O’ Dowd published his study in the latest edition of the international journal, SCIENCE.

The research shows how air pollution affects the amount of rainfall in certain areas.

Dr. O’Dowd says they have developed a new model to explain the affects of climate change and air pollution on rainfall.
