GALWAY JUDGE UPHOLDS SENTENCE ON WELSH PAEDOPHILE

A Galway Circuit Court Judge has upheld an 11 month sentence on a Welsh convicted paedophile who harassed a woman and her children in Salthill this summer.

44 year old Dominic Powell with an address at 6 Taiann, Cilfin-idd, Ponty-preed, South Wales, was appealing the severity of his sentence imposed by Judge Mary Fahy in Galway District Court to Galway Circuit Criminal court yesterday.
