Galway is third most insolvent county

Galway Bay fm newsroom – Galway is the third most insolvent county in the country according to a survey.
Almost 5 and a half percent of insolvencies for the first half of the year were in Galway, following Dublin and Cork, according to the figures from Vision-net.ie
However the figures also show signs of growth in the construction and real estate sectors.
The number of new company start-ups jumped by 14 per-cent in the first half of this year – with more than 8 and half thousand businesses formed, up almost a thousand on the first half of 2013.
