GALWAY IS ONLY IRISH DESTINATION FOR EU ANTI DISCRIMINATION ROADSHOW

Galway will tomorrow play host to the Irish leg of an anti-discrimination roadshow organised by the European Commission.

The roadshow is visiting Galway as part of the European Year of Equal Opportunities 2007 and its “For Diversity. Against Discrimination” awareness campaign.

A high-tech roadshow truck and stage will be located at the Claddagh Quay and will feature family entertainment from 11am to 4pm.

A wide selection of equality organisations will be on hand to distribute information and a number of local schools will be taking part in diversity workshops.
