GALWAY IN RUNNING FOR PUBLIC BIKE SCHEME

Galway is in the running for a public bikes scheme similar to an initiative which is already in operation in Dublin.

Cork, Limerick and Waterford are also vying for the scheme.

A series of meetings will take place throughout the country to gauge the level of interest.
