Galway homes in online sale

An unfinished detached house in Kiltullagh with a reservice price of €40,000 is amongst more than a dozen residential and commercial properties in Galway which will be sold in an online auction next week.

The four-bed house at Lenamore, which is finished to a shell, extends to 2,497 square feet and has a reserve price not to exceed €40,000.

It is being sold as part of a BidX1 online auction next Wednesday and Thursday, which will see around 220 lots go under the hammer.

Also for auction is an unfinished five-bed detached house (2,637 sq ft) at Kinreast, Ballymacward, Ballinasloe on a site of 1.4 acres, with a reserve price of €60,000.

A detached two-bed bungalow in Castleblakeney (1,507 sq ft) has a reserve of €10,000, while also in Ballinasloe is a three-bed semi-detached house at Dun Esker (1,399 sq ft) for €65,000, which is currently rented at €6,000 per annum.

At Ballybogan, Athenry, a two-bed detached cottage measuring 581 sq ft – in need of complete refurbishment – is on the market with a reserve price of €20,000.

In Galway City, a three-bed ground floor apartment in Gleann na Rí is on the market with a reserve price of €120,000, while a three-bed house at Fearann Rí, Doughiska, has a price tag of €125,000.

In the second auction on Thursday, four commercial lots in Galway will go under the hammer, including nine units in Liosban Business Park on the Tuam Road, with a guide price of €950,000 and currently generating an annual rent of €83,400.

Unit 6 at Racecourse Business Park in Ballybrit, with a guide price of €475,000. Tenants include Bord Gáis, Fleetwood Paints, FRS Training and McSharry’s Pharmacy and the total rent is more than €72,000 per annum.

The former Cambridge Diagnostics unit at Mervue Business Park, which spans 40,000 sq ft, is on the market with a €550,000 price tag.

In Ballinasloe, a ground floor  retail unit with three overhead one-bed apartments at Dunlo Street (generating €5,196 per annum) has an €85,000 reserve price.
