GALWAY HEADSHOPS DEALT A BLOW AS BAN IS INTRODUCED

Galway’s headshops have been dealt a blow today as a ban on products comes into force.

The Taoiseach signed an order banning the so-called ‘legal highs’ after European approval came into force a month earlier than thought.

Anyone found in posession of the substances faces up to 7 years in jail, with a life term for anyone supplying them.
