GALWAY GRASSROOTS UNEASE OVER FIANNA FAIL’S DECISION TO DISPENSE WITH CONVENTIONS

Potential Fianna Fáil candidates for next year’s local elections in County Galway will be interviewed by a panel from the party in the coming weeks.

The candidates will be seleceted by party Headquarters and there will be no selection convention.

This is a new departure for Fianna Fáil and it’s causing unease among many party members in Connemara.
