GALWAY GARDAI WARN THE PUBLIC ABOUT COUNTERFEIT NOTES

The incidence of counterfeit notes is on the rise in Galway.

That’s according to Gardai who are urging business people and consumers to be vigilant to combat it.

Galway Crime Prevention Officer, Sergeant Pat Flanagan says the bogus 50 euro notes can be hard to spot and is urging people to contact Gardaí if they detect counterfeit notes.
