Galway hurler Joe Canning, footballer Matthew Clancy and camogie player Veronica Curtin are urging GAA fans to take part in an environmental initiative

Fans are asked to log-on to the new ESB/GAA website culgreen.ie that’s -C-U-L-G-R-E-E-N to help make Croke Park carbon neutral.

Ahead of this weekend’s crucial All-Ireland football quarter final, Galway fans are being urged to consider using environmentally friendly modes of transport to travel to Croke Park such as car pooling, train or bus.

Prizes will be made to individual fans making energy saving pledges on the website, including All-Ireland Final match tickets and a 20,000 euro investment in Galway’s juvenile clubs.
