GALWAY FINALLY TO GET BREASTCHECK FACILITY

Breastcheck is finally coming to Galway and will be up and running in a matter of weeks.

According to Galway West Deputy Noel Grealish the letters with appointments for screening will be sent out in the next few days

Deputy Noel Grealish has confirmed that Galway women between the ages of 50 and 64 will now be called for breast screening.

He says that the first batch of letters for breast screening will be sent out in the coming days and he is urging women to avail of the free service.

The first letters will be sent to Anaghdown, Moycullen, Spiddal, Slieveaneena, Tullykyne and Wormhole
