GALWAY FARMERS TO DISCUSS BUDGET IN LOUGHREA

Farmers around the county are being urged to attend an IFA public meeting in Loughrea tonight on the budget.

The IFA is organising the meeting to discuss maintaining farm schemes in next month’s budget.

At least 300 farmers are expected to attend and air their concerns.

The meeting takes place in the Loughrea Hotel and Spa at 8.30pm.
