GALWAY FAILED COMPANIES OWE CREDITORS 21 MILLION EURO

103 Galway companies failed last year owing their creditors over 21 million euro.

Figures compiled by business intelligence analyst, Vision Net, show that there has been a 41 percent increase in the number of collapsed firms when compared to the same period in 2010.

Galway businesses made up just 5 percent of the total number of insolvencies in Ireland in 2011.
