GALWAY EAST TD HONOURED TO TAKE LABOUR CHAIR

Galway East TD Colm Keaveney says he will support Labour’s principle and its focus in returning the country to economic stability.

Deputy Keaveney won chair of the Labour party at the centenary conference in Galway with 40 percent of first preference votes.

Galway West TD Derek Nolan came second, while outgoing chair and former Waterford TD Brian O’ Shea took third position.
