Galway Driving Licence Centres open today
Galway bay fm newsroom – Galway motorists seeking a new driving licence can no longer avail of this service at their local authority office from today (Tues Oct 29).
The application process has now been transitioned to two National Driving Licence Centres.
The city base is located in Ballybrit Business Park while a part-time facility is also in operation at the Station House Hotel in Clifden.
An Post – which was unsuccessful in its bid to be considered a renewal centre – has criticised the Centres – saying some people will have to travel huge distances to get their licence.
