Galway director appointed to AECOM
AECOM, the largest project management and quantity surveying business in Connacht, has announced the promotion of Tomás Kelly to Director.
A key member of the AECOM Galway team, Tomás has delivered many of the region’s most impactful projects in the 15 years he has been based in Galway, including the Galway Clinic, NUI Galway Engineering and Research Buildings, and projects for the HSE in Galway University Hospital, Castlebar, Swinford and Roscommon.
Based at AECOM’s Kirwan’s Lane office in Galway City, he is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and has been at the forefront of the profession in the region.
He is a past Chairman of the Western Region of the SCSI, and an external examiner and guest lecturer at GMIT, Limerick IT and Sligo IT. His recent promotion reflects his contribution to the development of the AECOM team in Galway.
“Tomás and I have been working together in Galway for over 15 years. In that period we have worked on some of the most significant projects in the region,” said John O’Regan, Head of the AECOM Project and Cost Management Team in Ireland.
“Throughout the years we have maintained a large team of Chartered Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers in Galway, and we look forward to that team continuing to grow as activity in the construction sector increases,” he added.
