GALWAY DETAINEE TO BE CHARGED OVER MAYO ATTACKS

A man arrested in Galway city yesterday is due in court in County Donegal shortly, along with two other men.

All three are charged in connection with two serious incidents in Mayo at the weekend.

A second man arrested in the county earlier yesterday was released without charge last evening and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
