GALWAY COURT HEARS EVIDENCE OF HORSE CRUELTY IN BARNA

A Galway District Court Judge is hearing evidence in relation to a city man charged with cruelty to animals.

Ronan Gill of Ballagh, Bushypark is charged with neglecting and leaving an injured mare without food or shelter in Rusheen, Barna Road last year.

The court has been hearing evidence from the GSPCA, a veterinary surgeon who treated the mare and Gardai.
