Five Galway councillors, 2 from the city and 3 from the county, will meet at Galway’s Spanish Arch at noon today (Mon 21st Sept) to unite in their opposition to the Lisbon Treaty.

The five councillors include: Colette Connolly of Labour and Independent Councillor Catherine Connolly, both from the city and their County Council colleagues Independent Seosamh Ó Cuaig, Dermot Connolly of Sinn Féin and Tomás Ó Curraoin of Republican Sinn Féin.
